This project was created between January 2025 and March 2026, during a period when I was struggling with pain, fever, the risk of sepsis, and muscle atrophy. I returned to the concept of Digital Haiku because it was the only way I could create while lying in a hospital bed. I just wrote down whatever came to my mind. I dreamed that I got lost in my own city and couldn’t find my way home. The buses and trams have unfamiliar numbers and confusing schedules. They don’t stop at the stops where I’m waiting, or they drive off when I try to catch up. And if I do manage to get on, they go somewhere other than where I expected, and seem to be trying to take me out of the city. My smartphone screen is unreadable, I can’t use any apps.
